Arrange Furniture:

  • Arrange furniture after guest use

Respond to Guests:

  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests

Lost Property Management:

  • Document lost property items found in guest rooms and hand them over to the Supervisor/Manager at shift end

Safety and Maintenance:

  • Report maintenance and safety hazards promptly to minimize risks

Equipment Handling:

  • Ensure proper operation and security of equipment

Chemical Handling:

  • Stay updated on chemical and cleaning product knowledge and handling procedures

Security Awareness:

  • Report any suspicious activities or individuals to the manager

Maintenance Support:

  • Address maintenance issues like burned-out light bulbs

Room Organization:

  • Organize stationery and amenities in guest rooms
  • Check for and dispose of any left-behind items or trash under beds, in drawers, and closets
  • Clean sinks and fixtures
  • Restock terry, soap, glasses, comment cards, coffee, and other amenities
  • Clean coffee pots as needed and ensure they’re plugged in
  • Ensure guest room security and privacy

Job Requirements:

  • No specific education or experience required; training provided
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Strong communication skills preferred
  • Familiarity with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) beneficial
  • Capable of handling situations with sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
